AIM for Youth conducts a comprehensive educational program that includes tutoring and related education intervention activities, aimed at enhancing youth academic skills and addressing truancy/drop-out issues.
Specifically, AIM for Youth provides education enhancement, truancy reduction, and dropout prevention programs to elementary and secondary school students, located in high risk communities. These communities are selected primarily because of their demographics and need for improvement. 
 Activities are delivered that address the following areas:
- Test-Taking Skills and Strategies
- Reading Enrichment
- Writing Skills Development
- Math Computation
- Problem-Solving
- Student Empowerment
- School Attendance
- Dropout Prevention
Programs are provided during school hours, and extended to after-school and weekend programs. The program relies on educators, as well as volunteers to deliver program services. All program personnel are screened for criminal background checks and other related matters. |
